Two new office practices have opened at ColumbiaDoctors Riverdale at 3050 Corlear Avenue. An April 12 kickoff of the expansion welcomed local physicians, who networked with our Riverdale team.
“ColumbiaDoctors is committed to continuing to expand the scope of our specialty and subspecialty clinical practice to better serve the Riverdale/Kingsbridge community,” said George A. “Jack” Cioffi, MD, president of ColumbiaDoctors.
In February 2016, ColumbiaDoctors otolaryngology and audiology began seeing patients in their second-floor suite. Local audiologist Flora Holderbaum, AuD, is now an assistant professor of audiology (in Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery) at CUMC. In the new practice, she will be collaborating with ColumbiaDoctors otolaryngologists, Drs. Lanny Close, Justin Golub, and Erik Waldman, to provide treatment for adult and pediatric ENT, hearing loss, and allergies and sinus problems, including hearing aids, plastic surgery, and ear implants.
In November 2015, a ColumbiaDoctors multi-specialty office opened on the first floor. That practice features general obstetrics/gynecology, vascular surgery, and several pediatric specialties including allergy, endocrinology, rheumatology, cardiology, and gastroenterology.
The two new practices join the first ColumbiaDoctors practice to open in this location, a multi-specialty medicine group on the second floor, which has been on Corlear Avenue since September of 2012 and includes cardiology, gastroenterology, pulmonary medicine, internal medicine, colorectal surgery and neurology. By July of 2016, endocrinology, rheumatology and nephrology will be added to this group.
